Main designer and developer for DATIX, a multiuser visual data collection software that have been used to collect economical data from multiple terminals on RSX-11, CPM and SCO Unix. Data have been stored in DBF-like databases. Developer for keyboard layouts and keyboard hooks and translators on Windows systems for the Romanian language.
1991-1995 AgoraMedia Publishing House Technical writer for computer magazines like PC Report, OpenIT and Byte Romania, specialized in Unix/Linux/Windows kernel development articles. 2001-2008 Intelligent Building Solutions (http://www.ibs.ro) CEO and CTO of IBS, a small company specialized in smarthouse solutions. The company produces its own software and hardware to control heating and air conditioning, lights, video cameras, microphones, alarms, access of doors and other equipment for the house of tomorrow. The house can be monitored and controlled over TCP/IP, SMS or Bluetooth. The software is open sourced and ported to Windows, Linux, MacOSX.
