The EPR-eDevice standard handles Methodollogy for Condition Monitoring:

( Environmental access control management part)

The EPR eDevice standard represent standarized functional models of electronic network devices(nodes) that are connected to eFolder engine based portals (super structure) through Web services technology.
The EPR eDevice catalog is represented through an EPR eDevice UDDI "mirroring" functionalety into EPR eDevice WSDL. Communication protocol is SOAP-CAL.
The mirrored functional models of interoperability standardization of elelectronic devices are derived from the ANSI/CEA-721 work developed over the last 25 years by more than 400 companies, organizations and individuals as:

  • ABB
  • Ademco
  • AMP
  • Analog devices (Domosys Corporation)
  • Caddx Controls
  • Chamberlain Group
  • Cutler-Hammer
  • Diablo Research Corporation
  • Dr. Ken Wacks (MIT)
  • Ericsson
  • Full House Control
  • General Electric (Homenet)
  • Honeywell
  • HP (Compaq Computer Corporation)
  • Hypertek
  • IBM
  • Intel
  • InteliHome
  • Intellon Corporation
  • Interactive Media Systems
  • ISO/IEC JTC1 SC25 WG1 Home Electronic System
  • IT & Integration ( IT & Process)
  • Leviton
  • Lucent Technologies
  • Microsoft
  • Philips
  • Siemens
  • Smart Corporation ( Microsoft + GE )
  • Tecom
  • The Training Department
  • Thomson Consumer Electronics
  • XLSynergy

Environmental control and patient condition monitoring through interoperating electronic equipment is crucial for the project. Here we want to demonstrate how all the real open BUS-technology standards can interact through a common top level real open XML based functional modeling layer. EPR-eDevice Dictionary:

These variables is an important part of EPR-eDevice Scenario Templates:

EPR-eDevice Templates:

An eDevice Scenario Template goes through 3 phases:

1. Construction and Certification( Template Class ) Role 1

2. Composing (Template Object, serialisation) Role 3 & 4

3. Sheduling ( Template processing in an eDevice Engine ) Role 3 & 4

These 3 phases needs different skill as illustrated in this figure:
